30-Hour Funding – Information & How to Apply
The government offers 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible working parents of 3 and 4-year-olds. This can help reduce your childcare costs and support your child’s early learning and development.
Who is eligible?
You may be eligible if:

You and your partner (if applicable) are both working (including self-employed), and each earning at least the equivalent of 16 hours a week at National Minimum Wage, but less than £100,000 a year.

You’re a single parent who meets the same criteria.

You’re on maternity/paternity leave, or receiving certain benefits (in some cases).

How to Apply

Create an account and fill out the application form.

If successful, you’ll receive an 11-digit eligibility code (starting with ‘500’).

Send your code, your National Insurance number, and your child’s date of birth to our office by:

Please note: You must reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months via your online account to continue receiving the funding.
When Can My Child Start?
If your child turns 3 between:

1st September – 31st December → Funding starts in January

1st January – 31st March → Funding starts in April
-
1st April – 31st August → Funding starts in September
